Daily Data Maintenance includes the following:
Special Purpose Computers: Computers used for special purposes requiring more effort to maintain incur a separate charge for application maintenance. Examples would be a Microsoft Exchange server, where defragmentation of the message store and the larger logs requires additional time to review, or a complex web server or a video processing workstation where increased hardware complexity and larger file systems require additional maintenance time.

Where possible, servers have our special monitoring software installed. This software determines the status of each individual machine, reporting it to our central repository, where a full history can be reviewed at any time. The server side also flags any system parameters outside of "norms", and sends a special alert to our trained technicians.

Where possible, a summarization of system logs are sent daily to Daily Data, where they are reviewed for any abnormal conditions
